NewsFinland and FAO engaged to develop open source land registration software

Finland and FAO have agreed to assist countries to develop sustainable and affordable land administration systems to improve tenure security and land governance in both rural and urban areas.
The $2.4 million project will help FAO member countries to test and adopt low-cost open source technology for the benefit of their land records maintenance. The project will be piloted in Ghana, Nepal and Samoa.
