On January 27, Dennis F. Brito, Commercial Director of Tankay ("push" in Quechua), visited the World Rural Forum.
Tankay, social enterprise from Ecuador recently established by Caritas Ecuador, is principally engaged in the export of agricultural products under fair trade criteria for producers. In this sense they are trying to get different certificates (such as Fairtrade).
On the other hand, when the company is more established and profitable, they will be reinvested in social projects for producers who supply Tankay.
