The World Rural Forum participates in the annual conference of the OECD about Rural Development

Between 13 and 15 October was held the annual conference of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development-OECD about Rural Development under the title "Developing rural policies to address a changing world", in Quebec.
The World Rural Forum has participated in this Conference, particularly in the session "Strategies to strengthen the local food industry" presenting the specific case of agricultural and food sector in the Basque Country.
Participation in this meeting can be described as satisfactory as to link up with the OECD countries and to learn rural development initiatives in other countries.
