Brazilian Congress approved the incorporation of the right to food in the Constitution
[02-12-2010]In early February; the Brazilian Congress approved the draft constitutional amendment (PEC) 047/2003 which incorporates the right to food as a fundamental right. This right will be included in Article 6, which already includes other social rights as the right to work, health, education and social security.
Ecuador will resume the FTA negotiations with the European Union
