[12-22-2006]NUMEROUS ASSISTANCE IN THE WRF'S THIRD INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS
[10-25-2006]On October 21st finalized the World Rural Forum's third Internatinal Congress. From October 19th up to the 21st, more than 275 people assisted to the Congress. During these three days a multidisciplinary discussion was held in order to understand the economic problems of the Rural World, their causes, as well as the paths to be followed to impulse a development based on Solidarity.
The organizations comming from Asia, Africa, Latin America and Europe joined together and held an extraordinary meeting on October 22nd. In this meeting we started defining the general services to be offered from the WRF Secretary to the NET of Organizations, as well as the the priority themes to be developed in the Secretary in order to be able to develop an efficient international lobby work.MEETING OF ASIAN RURAL NGOs IN CAMBODIA
[02-28-2006]The Asian NGO Leader's Dialogue (ALD) started in 2003 as an expression of NGO leaders' shared commitment to sustainable rural development. It is participated by NGO leaders representing diverse cultures, ideas, and experiences, as well as different generations. Since it started, the ALD has provided a venue for dialogue and exchange among NGO leaders on issues relating to the exercise of leadership in pursuit of a just, prosperous and harmonious life in rural communities amidst the challenges of globalization.
